OLYMPIC SPECIAL!!!!!!

Well I know I didn't post a blog last week but I have been up to my eyeballs watching the Olympics in London! So far the highlights have been... FOOTBALL (Tooo bad NZ couldn't get past the USA and Brazil), ARCHERY ( Go Mexico and Koreans they were very good), WATCHING NZ ROWERS BLITZ THE FIELD! Also I went to the NZOC museum in Wellington and sent a message to the team. That was cool. On the down side, there has been some un-olympic actions such as a naked kiwi doing a snow angel on the roof (tehehe), those badminton people, the 1500m guy from Algeria who won after being disqualified and then let back in! and some racist tweets from some athletes. Too bad for Valerie Adams, she did win a silver but she had a lot of pressure to win gold again. and someone forgot to register her!!!! And too bad about the exploding BBQ at the fan base- kiwi fireworks!

But the most exciting thing is that the TROOPERS were also in LONDON competing in the TROOPER GAMES (doesn't get much coverage) and I am happy to bring the photos to you! Amazingly London looks alot like our living room, but you can tell it's London because there landmarks like Big Ben and Tower Bridge and the QUEEN and her corgi, and the big sign that says LONDON. So I want to say congratulations to all the athletes trying their best and high five to the troopers. The Paralympics starts next week! Toodles The-O

  1. I think I would feel very comfortable in London, it does look a bit like our place! Great idea for the Olympics, I have really enjoyed watching and talking about sports this past week with you! I,ve learned heaps about archery and judo and groaned when scandalous things happened. Hope the trooper games get televised in four years!
