NEW INVENTION :D The Virtual Food Truck

We decided that we would make a blog feature THEO'S VIRTUAL FOOD TRUCK.

My Food Truck serves up delicious deserts such as Apple pie and we call them Aporo Puffs ( Aporo is the Maori word for Apple) and even Pulled pork sandwiches YUM YUM. But this week we are making Aporo Puffs.  After so many customers were asking for the recipe we decided "Ehh what the heck it's not like our business nemesis Wildcard is going to steal our secret recipe... OR IS HE..?"
( new comic idea ) BOO YAH.
The idea is that I am doing a recipe a week with a comic to get the story going.

We found this paper cutout of a food truck on the internet and we were like: WOW that's so cool we searched five sites and finally found them -.-  and now I will be making my food truck in a couple of minutes.

We have a great garden growing PEPPERS are huge and herbs growing well but u may have heard that we are making a Dragon Garden... It's an awesome miniature landscape design project and here are my draft plan.

THE-O's FOOD TRUCK RECIPE OF THE WEEK:

APORO PUFFS

You need:
puff pastry sheets
apples
cinnamon
salt
raisins
lemon juice
brown sugar
water
cornflour or flour
butter
egg white
I learned to cook from my mum so the measurements are wild guesses and instinct. Use your creativity is what she says!
Step 1: Cut up heaps of apples. If you have 6 sheets of pastry then you need about 18 apples so that's about 3 big apples per sheet (division and basic facts boo yah)  Step 2: Take out the frozen pastry
Step 3: Put apples in pot with all the other stuff except the egg white. For our recipe we make 24 Puffs so we have about 18 apples, 2 tbsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp salt, handful of raisins, 1 lemon's juice, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 water, some cornflour or regular flour like 3 big spoons, and 1/4 cup butter. Or whatever else you want to put in the pot. Put on stove and cook until apples start to get soft.
Step 4: cut pastry into 1/4s
Step 5. Put some apple in middle of square, fold over, squish edges with fork, put on tray. Oh yeah heat up oven to 225.
Step 6: Brush each Puff with egg white and sprinkle on some sugar.
Step 7: Cook for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 8: Cool on rack. Don't try to eat too soon or you will burn your mouth.

By this time people will be lining up outside your food truck so serve on recycled paper napkin and charge 2 bucks.

Tally Ho The O!
