tuataras and politics!

This was a busy week! It started on Monday when we went to Wellington and went to Zealandia and Parliament. First Zealandia. It is a native bird sanctuary and the most awesomest thing was the TAKAHE we just came around the corner and there there were giant blue birds only 200 left in the world and we saw two of them 10% We also saw tuatara, kaka (cheeky little buggers) we walke along the top of a dam and went in a old gold mine to freaky no lights big wetas

Then parliament because we are studying about elections. I have decided that I support the GREEN PARtay but they should get a free lollie policy. The election is on 26 Nov. I hope John Key can find another job.

I made pavlova for supper and peanut butter cookies (YUM YUM) I like having  the icing in the bowl afterwards when cooking is over I also like it when people give you great feedback and burp that is the sign that the tank is full.

I am seeing fractions everywhere. Mom's maths teaching is invading my brain.

Going to Danniverke this weekend with dad and grandad to talk to a person who has done a family tree about the Braithwaites. road trip with the raisins (mum came up with that one)
I gotta get a net up before Bam eats my strawberries

have a good week people THE-O

  3. MMmmm pavlova - only made better by fresh strawberries. Would have loved the bird sanctuary and I hope I get to see it someday soon. Love the new look of the site. Oh yes, and I fed the fish.

  4. Kia ora Theo - what an amazing week you have had! I really loved your dessert's this week, I think we can put you on official dessert making duties forever Theo! Love the cool new theme for the site - excellent. I am pleased you are taking such an interest in the world around you including environmental issues and politics, you are becoming such a thoughtful little man. I wonder if you would like to take the time to look at what the different political parties are saying about the environment this election as some homework for next week. Great stuff - Dad.
