ReplyDeleteHi thanks for reading my blog, It is cool to get readers from other countries. Steampunk is about lots of things, literature, movies, fashion, gadgets and having fun. It's about retro-futurism, imagining the future from the past, especially imaging the future from the era of steam power (Victorian times). It is also about techno-fantasy and a neo-victorian aesthetic (these ideas came from a guy in Canada who has written heaps about this). I love it because it is a good place for my imagination and I like drawing rayguns and creating characters. I have created Wildcard, and Dr Eviltophat, and my mum created Rufina Haggart. There are lots of websites that talk about steampunk, even Lego is making a set this year. Toodles, The-O.
