I am really sorry for how long I have been absent from the school cave register,WE HAVE BUSTIN GASKETS TO FINISH our garden and its finally around the corner (Literally) we just need to plant the Good'ol veggies then we are Done WOOP WOOP. In this SPECIAL BLOG POST YOU WILL SEE things u have never seen before SUCH AS PENGUIN CHOPSTICKS AND Umm... A RARE SITTING BAM (smiling) *whispers* even better, THE BRIGHTEST TIRES EVER and a Indonesian Football shirt ( My passion... football that is. ). As you can imagine all these things are very extraordinary.
Well, my mum was in Surabaya Indonesia doing what she does... teaching maths... and finding new action figures. This is her at a hindu temple called Candi Jawi. She found out that when you say her name in Bahasa Indonesian it means "joke"-LOL! She found me these AMAZING BEGINNER chopsticks... because I never have been able to get the hang of eating with chopsticks but now I am a PRO--- especially noodles. The other thing she got for me was an Indonesian national team football shirt which is now my favourite shirt ---well until maybe somebody can get me a Arsenal shirt for my birthday HINT HINT...
Yes my birthday. Just sayin' keep a watch for the 21 of Nov on the blog...
MY GARDEN>>> the idea was to have a garden that we could sit and relax in... I planned for a riverstone part with ferns and flax, that's going well. Ferguson the Fern has sprouted 2 new koru and the fluffy fellas at the front have had a huge growth spurt.
The other idea was to have recycled tire planters painted in jelly bean colours. I love these bright colours. We got these done and they look amazing. Plus we built two chairs and got some bamboo torches. The strawberries are exploding--- watch out! well not literally, just biologically!!!
But my best invention was the BEAN CAVE. I planted climbing beans and sweet peas in a semicircle and made a bamboo frame. When they grow, it will be a cave just big enough for me and my dog bam on a hot day! I am going to take a photo of me in the bean cave each Monday and you can watch it grow.
So that's all the extraordinary stuff that's been happening. This term we are studying gardening, landscaping and beaches. The best part will be when our family goes to do some beach reserach in SAMOA in JANUARY. I'm staying in a bad ass treehouse. There might be room for my sibling Moana if she doesn't bring too many shoes.
Toodles THE-O
