SEASON FINALE OF SCRUNCH AND CALCULATIX

This week you'll be reading the season finale of Scrunch and Calculatix. I really enjoyed drawing and writing this cartoon and I hope you all liked reading it! Next week I am going to start some work on photo stories. I think these will be funny!

Did you know that this blog is read by people all around the world?! There have been readers from Russia, Latvia, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, USA, UK and oh yeah... Canada and NZ! I love looking at the stats and seeing where the hits come from.

This week we have been working on the airship which is coming along really really well. It looks awesome. Now we are hunting for 2 really big fizzy drink bottles. I am willing to have the world's largest burp just to get this model made! Tehehe.

For maths we have been working on circles and the study of circles and spheres and basically we are doing lots of investigations and making models. Mom had this crazy idea about oranges and the axes on a globe... but it worked!!! and then we got really sticky with glue string and made a 3-D hollow sphere- string ball. I have also learned about parabolas and see curves everywhere. People use this idea to make string art. Also roller coasters work on this idea too.

So I know you're all waiting for this... Telebotix has stolen the world's remote controls and Electro Guy has gone to get his CRSM to fight back. Here's what happened...
