AIRSHIP UPDATE

AIRSHIP UPDATE: happy to report that the hull is FINISHED YAY we are now building the dirigible but the foam didn't work -_- NOOOO but I think I figured out how to make the foam work by putting layers in separately. We are also going to build a cargo crane. We carved wooden blades for the propeller which looks really cool, but we haven't glued it together yet. The propeller is connected to a shaft that is driven by a boiler in the hull ( you can't see it but it's there!!! you can see the chimney from the boiler and steam is rising out of it. 

I am on an around the world trip (like my friend Bas- are you in Europe yet buddy?) only I'm doing it by computer and flying from place to place on Google Earth. So far, we spent a morning in London, another morning in Rome and today I'm going to Tanzania.

My soccer team, the Greytown Thunderbird,s are having a great start to our season. We have had 4 wins and a draw. I'm going to go to a Futsal tournament in July. Soccer is my LIFE!!!! oh and a few other things....


I am a bit fed up with the fishing going on off NZ shores. Some boats are dumping fish and killing protected species like the basking shark that got caught and dumped after it's tail was destroyed. Also some of these boats are keeping their crews like slaves and this is really cruel. So I'm thinking that the new rules about having inspectors on the boats might help. LEAVE the BASKING SHARKS ALONE!!!! they are like friendly giants of the ocean.
