BEST WEEK EVER!!!!!!!!!

On Monday it was my birthday. Bam was very excited because she got a cupcake (i think that's the only reason why she came) with some Russian fudge icing and they had sparklers on them (very hard to blow out). It was great. I got some cards with money TEHEHEHE and some steampunk goggles, a green lava lamp and some new clothes. And then the next day I had to go to an all day meeting with mum: BORING. (stuck in a room with heaps of teachers) Lets get to the fun stuff.

So mum had go to another all day meeting but this one was different because WE WERE IN AUCKLAND (that's really far away from Wellington and we left a day early). We flew from Wellington in the plane if you know what that is you know what bad turbulence is so after we got our sore butts off the plane then we hopped in a really flash taxi to the ZOO. We saw the native NZ aviaries and some tigers and lions and hippos and rhinos and some kiwi! But I was also happy to see the Galapogos tortoises, they had hardly moved since we were there 8 years ago, they move sloooooooowly! But they smell better this time.

Then we did some shopping (birthday MONEY tehehe) and hopping on buses and trains and stayed in a flash hotel. I bought a remote control truck and drove it around the hotel while mum had a meeting (more heaps of teachers).

The staff were very nice and gave me a pitcher of coke and a bowl of lollies and my own desk at the conference. Then we flew home.

Now I am finishing off Theo-Week with my 3 friends and we are going for a swim and cheeseburgers this afternoon. Healthy lifestyle!

So thanks for all your happy birthdays on Facebook and the cards and stuff. This is the best week ever. (except for the heaps of teachers- why do they carry on talking when a person is speaking on the microphone?)

The election is this Saturday. I will tell you about the results next week. Toodles The O (11 now)

  1. a great birthday week, hey isn't it supposed to be a birth DAY? anyway, as always you are a great traveling companion and congratulations for putting up with rooms full of 60-100 teachers and principals!!! You're right, they are terrible at listening sometimes... hmmm. I loved seeing the zoo with fresh eyes after our study of evolution and zoology. Also happy you like being eleven-teen, enjoy this prime number age. Look up Joe Cool Snoopy on google images. Aviator glasses rock. 3 weeks to go before summer break, Mom.

  2. Wow what a wonderful week Theo. I see you have learned the art of drawing your birthday out over a few days. Mum says Papa does that too! Like Papa like grandson. I'm so glad you had such a great time in Auckland even despite those impolite teachers who talk when someone is presenting. Perhaps you could have organized a "naughty step" for them Theo?
