I got this idea for planting strawberries in tires. Today I found some old tires at the garage and bought some strawberry plants and then dug up the compost and VOILA!!! Strawberry City! I hope they will be ready by Christmas. I will have to put a net over the berries to keep Bam out- she loves berries! Do you like the new design for my blog? I will do a longer post on Friday. Great idea - is the general idea that the tires warm up and keep the soil warmer for the plants?
