School Cave Term 3!

Wow half the year is over, but I still love homeschool and working with my mum. This term we have some plans to do some "tinkering'. Which is getting all kinds of stuff that doesn't work and taking it apart into bits and pieces and then making new gadgets and things out of the bits. I want to make a futuristic laser watch thing that looks like it could be in a movie but first I'm taking apart the old phones and calculators. I love Dr. Gordborts inventions and would love to get that good at tinkering.

I am continuing my reserach of my ancestors but this term it's the Braithwaites (and Holmes, I wonder if I'm related to Sherlock?) Maybe we might go to the South Island and look around the places where my grandad grew up.

For the first time down in the valley we had SNOW in Greytown. My friend Bas and I went snow ball fighting at Mt Holdsworth. It was AWESOME!!!

Some new things on the blog here. We have got TALKING DOG VIDEOS  and EXTREME ANIMAL FACT BOX. and if you hadn't noticed there is a new BACKGROUND. I have an avatar all ready made for the site but I'm having a bit of trouble getting it to load. When Swatter gets here make sure you have a chat with him.

I am really excited because on Wednesdays I am volunteering for... the SPCA!!!!  as a dog walker and puppy socialiser.  Bam will be sniffing me when I get home trying to figure out where I have been. Moana is very jealous!!!

I like your comments and questions. Keep them coming. If you are reading this from another country (and you're not my family) please leave a comment and let me know who you are! I can see that people from Greece and Egypt and parts of Asia and the USA have been to the School cave. That is cool.

Have  a good week people, The O
