Japan disaster

I was surprised when I first heard about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I just checked the TV before I went to bed and there it was: fire panic distress. I found it hard to go to sleep. Then we started hearing about the nuclear disaster and I started wondering about the people who were swept away and the people who were hiding in the buildings. I feel like I want to go an help but I'm not sure what I would do. I think I could help search the rubble because I can get into small spaces. But I am scared about radiation, I never really knew about it before. Like it is a silent killer, it has no smell or taste or colour so you don't even know you are exposed. And now it's snowing there. Here is a link for the Quake Map. It shows the

Happier things this week: river swimming! Bam and I have been going to the river and swimming in the cooooool water. I like swimming in the current and feeling the pull on my body. Bam fetches sticks and uses her tail to steer. She is a good lifeguard and watches out for me.

I have a new poll about flavour, please VOTE. Last week the reincarnation poll showed that most people (60%) wanted to be an eagle. I think that is because people want to be able to fly. No one chose the praying mantis (what's wrong with you???) I think that is because they have a short life span and people want to live for a long time. I chose the white tiger because they look brave and strong. The sad thing is if you are a white tiger you would be living in a zoo because there is none left in the wild. 30% wanted to be an octopus, do you dream of living in the sea?
