EARTHQUAKE!

Hi Yesterday there was a huge aftershock in Christchurch. It was 6.3 but shallow. Many buildings collapsed and people were killed and hurt and they are looking for missing people in the rubble. We are all safe because we are quite far away on the North Island but it feels close when you watch the TV. There was a big earthquake there in September and there have been hundreds of aftershocks.     Hi Theo, We have been looking at the maps and the info online -- a disaster! But, what impressed us was how the people who were OK were all helping the others. Kiwi's are caring and helpful people.
